Ferenc is the founder and partner of FB-tax. He is a member of the Brussels Bar.
He is an expert in national and international tax law and family property law. His clients are Belgian and foreign companies, private individuals and non-profit organizations. As a lawyer, he gives advice and resolves disputes. He pleads before the courts and assists his clients as a confidant vis-à-vis the tax authorities.
He works in Dutch, French and English and has notions of German.
Ferenc is an active member of the International Association of Lawyers and is an alumnus of AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers). Ferenc is a member of various associations of tax lawyers and legal professionals. He is a voluntary scientific collaborator at the notarial department of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

After my law studies in Leuven, I started my career at the bar with a 3-year internship. Every day I received the most diverse legal questions and offered assistance in proceedings regarding trade disputes, disputes about contracts and taxes. This diversity gave me a good basis for my tax and private client work today.
I quickly realized that tax issues have a significant impact on business decisions. The interaction between private life and taxation is often even more complex: after all, personal motives usually carry more weight. This is how my interest in taxation arose. To immerse myself in this, I opted for the French-language evening course in taxation at the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Fiscales in Brussels.
After completing the training, I started working at the Wealth Analysis & Planning department of Belfius bank. There I advised private clients by providing information about estate planning, inheritance law, marriage contracts, wills, civil partnership, stamp duties and inheritance taxes, income taxes and family businesses. I also gave presentations to selected groups of the bank’s clients.
During that period I followed the training to become a certified private banker, so that I also gained insight into the financial side of estate planning.
After an instructive period at the bank, I returned to the legal profession, because assisting clients gives me the most satisfaction. I did this for a period at the private clients department of the Brussels office of Loyens & Loeff. However, the plan to start my own firm had been in the back of my mind for some time. I took that step in 2012, under the name FB-Private Wealth Law.
Because tax questions from private individuals, expats and entrepreneurs also affect property law, I obtained a master after master in Notarial Law at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in 2018 with distinction. In this way I acquired a thorough knowledge of private law. Studying at the VUB felt so good that, as a teaching assistant, I now supervise students and give training / seminars. It gives me a lot of energy to work with young lawyers who are eager to learn. And I myself stay up-to-date in terms of knowledge for the diversity of questions from my own clients.
From 2021, the growth of the office will continue under the name FB-tax with a new positioning “clarity in tax diversity”. After all, diversity is in our DNA, coupled with high quality advice and assistance in disputes.
